Paul Thomas, the undisputed king of quality, intelligent adult film is the only director who could make a film about the boundaries between sex worker and client that is as sensitive as it is sexy. This amazing remake not only does great justice to the original movie, )Thomas also directed the first Masseuse), it also manages to be refreshingly new and inventive. A fantastic script and Hollywood-worthy performances from lead actors Jenna Jameson and Justin Sterling make for an absolutely riveting hour & a half and, no kidding, you will want to watch the whole thing.
This time around the client, Jim, is a virginal fetish enthusiast who becomes obsessed with his masseuse, Barbara. Their relationship becomes more complicated when Barbara starts seeing Jim outside of the parlor for some deliciously naughty bondage sessions at his house. While it's clear they are both enjoying themselves, Jim is unable to keep perspective and the situation is bound to end in heartbreak.
Kudos to Thomas for avoiding the obvious farcical comedy route that most porn directors rely on. With amazing cinematography, unbelievably hot sex scenes and a serious script The Masseuse is an adult movie that is truly made for adults.
