Obama! Obama! Obama!
Congratulations are in order for all of our American friends! While I’m disappointed that propositions against gay marriage passed in California, Arizona and Florida, I’m glad that the right to choose was upheld in South Dakota.
I really don’t know all that much about American politics, so I’m not going to pretend to. But I’m inspired by the jubilation I’m seeing in my neighbors to the south and I can’t help but feel a little bit giddy. That might be the tiredness of staying up late just so I could hear somebody on the television say “President Obama”. I’m getting shivery just thinking about it!
