Ahh, it’s the post-Valentine’s sugar crash! Everybody at Good For Her headquarters is breathing a heavy sigh after packing up many boxes destined for surprised lovers, welcoming many a new visitor heading into our store looking for something to pamper themselves with, and greeting record numbers of workshop participants into our space for some sexy schooling.

Now, it’s full speed ahead for getting ready for the third annual Feminist Porn Awards! We aren’t quite ready to announce our guests yet, but I can tell you it’s going to be completely incredible. We’ve got a bit of a change in store as well… we’re expanding into 2 nights! The first being an awesome and amazing awards ceremony at the Gladstone Hotel on Friday, April 4th 2008. On Saturday, April 5th, get ready for an amazing night of XXX entertainment on the big screen at the Revue Cinema, with fabulous opportunities for Q&A with several filmmakers (and maybe even a performer or two!). Stay tuned! Tickets will be on sale in early March and you’ll be able to purchase these on this here website, by phone or in our store.

There’s still time to submit your faves to us as well… have you seen any movies this year that deserve attention? Anything you’d like to see honored? Click here and submit your favourites. The only stipulation? The film has not been honored previously with a Feminist Porn Award. Be sure to check past winners from 2006 and 2007 if you aren’t sure!

Finally, for the Ontarians in the house - We hope you have a fabulous Family Day! We’ll be closed on Monday February 18th, but be sure to check us out during our regular hours which you can see here.
